Amber beads are shaped from fossilised plant resin. It is believed (but not medically proven) that amber has surprising anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that strengthen the immune system, whilst having a calming effect on babies and toddlers suffering the pain and discomfort associated with teething. I used amber for my own teething baby and felt that it really did make a positive difference. Plus they look great too!

 

Safety precautions:

* A knot is tied between each bead so that if the item is to break, only one bead    

   will come loose. Screw-in clasp attachment.

* Supervise you child wearing the item at all times. This is because the item may    

   be a choking hazard.

* Do not let your child suck or chew on the item.

* Remove the item when the child is sleeping or is unattended.
